And funerals show our age
It is astonishing how the two events can change the physical appearance. At Cara's funeral the people attending looked as if they had aged 15 years since I'd seen them the day before. In Ecclesiastes 7:2 Solomon tells us, "Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties. After all, everyone dies— so the living should take this to heart." I love a fun party or wedding but at that funeral it had me thinking- how am I living? As tough as funerals are it gets me out Satan's trap to only live for the moment and sets my sights on what is next cause it is true... The best is yet to come.
