Failure

"When practice is effortless... Learning stops. It's by waking the precipice between your current abilities and the skills just beyond your reach that growth happens."

Some day in the future when I will pick my kids up from school I want to alternate between these two questions what did you learn today and ask them how did you fail?

"... interpret failure not as a sign of personal weakness but as an integral part of the learning process."

View failure simply as feedback.

The classroom and school system discourage failure. Success is having the right answers. But this causes people to fear failure as adults avoiding it no matter what. I look at myself grades were so important to me and actual learning took second place.
